The HollyFrontier Tulsa, OK refinery sits on a 750 acre site encompassing the 125,000 barrel per day refinery, 3.2 million barrels of storage, and on-site truck and railroad loading facilities. Located close to Cushing, OK, the major crude oil pipeline hub, the plant has the flexibility to optimize its crude slate, selecting feedstock consisting primarily of Oklahoma Sweet, Cushing Common and West Texas Intermediate. The Oklahoma Sweet is of particular importance because its superior viscosity index and high paraffinic content is ideal for lubricant production.
