"Organic" is becoming increasingly important in the marketing of vegetables and produce. HollyFrontier Specialty Products’ new Cinagro Pesticidal Oil is fundamental to that process.
Cinagro is registered with the EPA for use on 58 crops and 30 landscape plants. It is an extremely effective insecticide registered for use by formulators of USEPA end-use products designed to be sold to organic growers for the purpose of controlling specific pests on specific crops in both the dormant and summer seasons.
Unlike chemical pesticides that poison the pests, Cinagro smothers them. The active ingredient in Cinagro is 100% mineral oil, as such it meets OMRI's definition of Oils, Petroleum Based - narrow range.
